Feldmann's Indie Animation Studio
Short films and original songs that tell unique stories.
Short films and original songs that tell unique stories.
After graduating from RIT I got a quick start at Walt Disney World as an artist just prior to Epcot opening. My career then took a circuitous route through time in 10-year chapters. That was four chapters ago! This latest era finds me as an indie animator with a studio dedicated to crafting short films to tell compelling stories with original songs. Having fun. With my good friend and creative partner Brad Colerick, a singer-songwriter from Valentine, Nebraska, I strive to create unique visual narratives from a more personal place than I could in my previous efforts in theme park design, marketing for commercial clients and community building as a Chamber of Commerce dude — all the while trying not to lose hope, humor nor my talent for writing a whopper of a run-on sentence.
There it is.

Here is a sampling of the art and design I've made recently: Pancho Barnes in her Mystery Ship, buzzing the church until her husband the preacher will grant a divorce, on her way to beating Amelia Earhart at 196.19 mph. Can't post the new film yet 'til I make it, but I will.
Here are some things I had the opportunity to work on over the years, mostly in collaboration with other talented individuals: WorldKey Network at EPCOT Center; 3D attraction logo for Michael Jackson's Captain Eo; Forming and leading Vision Rialto to revive a historic vaudeville movie theatre; Annual Reports for United Way of Orlando; Menus for Red Lobster; Disney Vacation Club branding; Co-founding The Eclectic Music Festival in South Pasadena, California; Reviving that city's dormant Chamber of Commerce; Historical research on Alexander Jackson Davis for a Gothic Revival cottage of his design; Getting approval for all Skaneateles High School grads to jump in the lake upon commencement - as long as our class didn't. (It's a tradition today). Zintka! A book praised by Publishers Weekly BookLife; Manzanar (Yuki) an award-winning short; Caricatures and drawings that amuse me and sometimes others; oh, and let's not forget . . . Two amazing and talented grownchildren: Kait and Benny.
I love face-to-face, but am not always available in person. It's pretty well established that I attend Wine & Song in South Pasadena every Wednesday night, if you want to engineer some serendipity.
